What Is the Western Railway Apprentice Program?
The apprentice program is a government-registered training opportunity under the Apprentices Act. It’s designed for young candidates (especially those with ITI) to receive on-the-job training in various technical trades across Western Railway divisions and workshops (e.g., Mumbai, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Ratlam, Rajkot).
This training helps participants gain practical skills and may give preference for future Railway Level-1 jobs once the apprenticeship is successfully completed.
