The Gujarat Garment Manufacturers Association's arbitration committee has blacklisted 14 parties in connection with the rising number of cases of fraud with the garment industry. Vijay Purohit, president of the association, said the 14 parties owe Rs 26.37 lakh. Despite persuasion and notice, 14 parties were unwilling to accept the association's decision. So all this has been blacklisted. With this party from now on no one is asked to do any transaction even in borrowing, cash.
From now on, every trader who buys readymade garments will have to pay his bill immediately or those who are given goods on credit will have to pay their payment within 45 to 60 days.
