An important decision has been taken by Collector Vijay Kharadi in view of the increasing cases of Corona virus in the entire district including Dahod Nagar. Traditional fairs with the two festivals have been banned in Dahod in view of the possibility of large crowds gathering for the upcoming Holi and Dhuleti festivals.
"During the upcoming Holi and Dhuleti festivals, the district traditionally organizes Amli Agiyaras, Dhuleti, Chul, Chadia and Gol Gadheda fairs," Collector Kharadi said in a statement. In which a large number of citizens are present. But in the last one decade, there has been a steady increase in cases of corona virus in Dahod district. Now, under such circumstances, if such fairs are held, there is a good chance that the citizens will become highly infected. In view of this, fairs including tamarind agiyaras, dhuleti, chul, chadiya and gol donkeys have been banned. Public gatherings cannot be organized on the occasion of these festivals.
Don't paint on pedestrians or motorists on public roads during Holi dusty festivals, don't ask for money by keeping them standing. Citizens are urged to celebrate the festivals peacefully.
He also said that the state government has also issued guidelines on a number of issues. In which wedding and reception ceremonies can be held within the capacity of fifty per cent of the capacity of the place or a maximum of 200 persons. Up to 50 people will be able to join the action after death. In closed and open places like halls, hotels, restaurants, auditoriums, community halls, town halls, programs can be held in the presence of 50 per cent of its capacity.
