About :
Saharayn Universal Multipurpose Society Limited (formerly known as Saharayn E-Multipurpose Society Limited) is one of the largest Multi- Purpose Society in India. The Society was incorporated in the year 2014 under the provisions of the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002 and rules made there-under.
The Society is working through more than 4500+ authorized centres with more than 125 administrative offices in 17 different states. The Society has its access and operations in far-flung areas and interiors where banking services are still not available.
Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
The Society does not directly interact with the general public but rather it accepts contributions from its regular members from the schemes of the Society from time to time. Central Registrar of cooperative society appointed in Department of Agriculture and Co-operation under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare, Government of India is reporting and compliance authority for the Society.
