Many stundents receive their scholarship application status messages from National Scholarship portal. As this system is new for all students, they can't understand all SMS's meanings. So we have collected some SMS's and put here their solutions.
Currently, all messages are receiving from VK-NICSMS / VM-NICSMS for Scholarship applications.
SMS 1 : ApplicationId :: GJ20161700910xxxx and Password :: 01/06/1998
SMS 2 : Rathava Mehulkumar Vikeshbhai Your appliocation for the Scholarship has been verified at Institute Level.
Meaning : When your institute verifies your application by logging their school/institute id's, you will receive this SMS.
SMS 3 : Scholarship Appln GJ20161700863XXXX is still not verified by your School/College. Contact School/College immediately to get Scholarship.
Meaning : When your institute do no verify your application for some reason and still verification pending, you are notified by SMS to contect your institute immediately to check reason.
SMS 4 : Registered Application ID- GJ2016170086XXXX

Meaning : When you request to recover fogotten Application id, you will receive such kind of messages indicating all application id's which are registered on same number.
SMS 5 : Dear Student XXXXXXXXXXXXX Name given in your application does not match with name in Aadhaar, please re-login and edit your name as given in Aadhaar through NSP Portal - http://scholarships.gov.in

Meaning : You are notified to update your name as exact given in adhar card into your scholarship application. So just login to your account and add your name as given in aadhaar card.
