As National Scholarship Portal uses SMS services regarding notification for various status to students about their scholarship application, some SMS's cant be understand by students. Most of students received SMS regarding Adding name as Aadhaar in their mobile. So it is very important to solve this query.
Why this happened ???
Bcoz from this year all scholarship will be credited to students bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. So all student will be verified through Aadhar system. Thus its very important to match Name exact as aadhaar card. Govt never notified student to add name as adhaar before registering the student. So all student have added name as per their marksheet. So this problem created.
SMS you received :
VM-NICSMS : Name in Appl ID GJ20161700XXXXXXX does not match with your aadhaar. Login and use UPDATE NAME AS IN AADHAAR option to give name as in aadhaar card.
