scholarships.gov.in : Check-Track Application Status & Various Errors

Govt of India has started online applications for scholarships since 2015. Its very simple and quick process for registering for various scholarships. From the year 2016, all schools, institutes have to register their students for scholarships. There are many faqs regarding online applications on Scholarship portal. But portal changes time to time and more and more faqs are created. Some of them are below.

* How do I know my application is successful? How to check my application's status ?
Ans. After completion of the online application, just login to your account (http://scholarships.gov.in/) You will see below kind of dashboard.
Click on Check your status.
You will see different status of your application.
eg. '' Application Under Process for Verification at State Level / Institute level'' , '' Various errors regaring Scholarships'', '' Money(Scholarship) sent/credited to your banks account or not''. etc

Hint : SMS service providing through National Scholarship Portal is absulatly fast. You will get all kind of SMS alerts regarding your application's status.
Like, SMS regarding adding name as aadhar card, verification fail or success etc.

You must check your application's status time 2 time on National Scholarship Portal.

I. Application Under Process for Verification at State Leval
Meaning : Your institute have verified your application and it has been now at next state leval verification.

II. Application is marked as defective from Institute Level
Meaning : Your institute has not approved your application for some reason. So please contect to your school / institute to know the reason.
III. Check IFSC Code. Click on Application Edit Option for Correction
Meaning : You have entered wrong bank IFSC code. So you have to edit application form as soon as possible,
Currently you cant edit your Bank Account Number or IFSC Code after closing date. So you have to contect your institute. They will definitely make correction in your application.
