Elections in villages: 31 district panchayats, 231 taluka panchayats and 81 municipal elections in Gujarat on Sunday, a real battle between Congress and BJP

In the 2015 elections, the BJP lost 31 district panchayats and more than 2 district panchayats

In 2015, out of 231 taluka panchayats, 165 taluka panchayats were won by Congress and 38 out of 51 municipalities were won by BJP.

By-elections of 980 seats of 31 districts, 4774 seats of 231 talukas, general elections of 2720 seats of 81 municipalities and 17 seats of three taluka 13 municipalities will be held tomorrow. So far, 95 seats in 25 districts and 117 talukas have been declared uncontested. Tomorrow is the final phase of Gujarat local body elections. The results will be announced on March 2, 2021 (Gujarat Chutani Parinam Tarikh 2021- Check Result). The fate of more than 22,200 candidates in more than 8,200 seats in the state will be captured by EVMs tomorrow. There is a real battle between the Congress and the BJP.

In 2015, the village was dominated by the Congress

In the 2015 elections, BJP has lost more than 23 out of 31 district panchayats. Out of 231 taluka panchayats, 165 taluka panchayats went to Congress. While BJP won 38 out of 51 municipalities.

95 seats uncontested in the municipality

BJP has fielded 2555 candidates and Congress has fielded 2247 candidates for 2524 seats in 81 municipalities. While 719 candidates have been fielded by AAP and a total of 7245 candidates are in the fray. Out of 2524 seats, 95 seats have been declared uncontested.

117 seats uncontested in taluka panchayat

In 4774 Taluka Panchayat seats, BJP has 4652 candidates, Congress has 4594, AAP has 1067 and 1952 has a total of 12265 candidates in the fray. Out of 4774 seats, 117 seats have been declared uncontested.

25 uncontested seats in district panchayat

In 980 seats of 31 district panchayats, 954 seats of BJP, 937 seats of Congress, 304 seats of 460 candidates are in the fray and a total of 2655 candidates are in the fray and 25 seats have been declared uncontested.
