PGVCL Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer) & Junior Engineer (Electrical) Written Examination will be held on 22/01/2012

Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited(PGVCL) has announced regarding written test for the post of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer) & Junior Engineer (Electrical) which will be held on 22nd January 2012. The list of eligible candidates for written test is placed on official website. Also call letters have been sent to successful candidates.
Date & Time of written test: - 22/01/2012, 09.30 am to 11.00 a.m.
Venue: - L.D. College of Engineering, Navarangpura, Ahmedabad.
Syllabus for the written test:-
1. Switchgear & protection – (MV/LV)
2. Distribution transformer
3. HT line/LT line parameters – construction, operational maint.
4. Performance of Electo Mechanic/Static meters
5. Functioning of capacitors & reactors
6. Low voltage constrains & resolving thereof
7. Performance of line fault analysis
8. Metering errors
9. Basic computers
10. Basic role of regulatory commission in power sector
11. Present power sector scenario in India
