1. Environmental Engineer: Post Graduate degree from any university or Institute recognized by State/Central Government.
*5 years Experience in the field of Environmental Science & Engineering, out of which at least 2 years of experience must be in environment monitoring, Hazardous waste, disposal mgt, pollution control. Basic knowledge of Computer application as per Gujarat Civil Services classification (general) rules 1967 and subsequent amendment need time to time knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi Language is essential.
2. Scientific Officer: A degree with first class in Chemistry/ Environmental Science / Bio-Chemistry/ Micro-Biology/ Marine Biology/ Bio-Science/ Bio technology/Agronomic/instrumentation with physics from university or an institute recognized State/Central Government with 8 years Experience in the field of Environment Science and technology out of which at least 4 year of Experience must be in Environmental Monitoring, Hazardous waste, disposals & mgt. Pollution control etc. Experience in Environmental Sampling & analysis, Laboratory management is essential.
