● How to apply for SEBC/ EBC certificate?
There are 4 different applications 1. SEBC/ EBC Certificate 2. SEBC/ EBC (Panchayat) Certificate. You can apply for each application by selecting seperately (View screeshot in Step5). You can get this certificate in Gujarati or English language. You can apply for caste certificate in below simple steps.
(Before you apply for all services, please update your profile. Check your full name in Gujarati language in your profile. To update profile click on '' My Profile'' tab on your dashboard. If you dont have Gujarati Fonts (keyboard) click on ''HELP'' tab on dashboard and download it. This is because some document is in only gujarati language.)

1. Visit Website : https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in . Click on login tab on website.

3. Logging in by entering your login detailes. If you are not registered user than click on '' Click for new registration (Citizen) - Read How to register step by step

4. After logging you will see a dashboard. click on '' Request a New service ''.


5. You will see a list of services offered through common service portal. Scroll down for SEBC/ EBC Caste Certificate & select the service to apply.

7. After selection of the service you will see information page of the selected service. Select language of document (English or Gujarati). Read necessary documents list (to be uploaded later) then scroll down the page. Then click on '' continue to service''.
(Important : You can see fees detailes on the bottom of the page above '' Continue to Service'' button. Approximate Time To Complete all Application is 15 min.)

8. You will see a popup window showing you your Request ID and Application Number. Now Click on '' Continue ''.

9. You will see a form which you have to fill up carefully.

10. After filling this form click on next. You will see another online form - fill it and click on next.
11. After filling this form you will see document uploading page.
12. Upload the documents (from given list) and submit the form.

13. After submitting form online you can take a print of your application form.

14. Now if fees is applicable go for Payment ( Read how to make payment online )
If fees not applicable you can check your application status by simple clicking on "Home" tab of the dashboard. If approved you will be able to download your certificate by clicking on ''download issued document''.

Detail of bank account : copy of bank passbook
Post Office Account Statement/Passbook
Driving License
Government Photo ID cards/ service photo identity card issued by PSU
Water bill (not older than 3 months)

Identity Proof Attachment (Any One)
True Copy of Passport
True Copy Income Tax PAN Card.
True Copy of Election Card.
Ration Card
Driving License
Government Photo ID cards/ service photo identity card issued by PSU
Any Government Document having citizen photo
Photo ID issued by Recognized Educational Institution

Caste Proof (Any One)
The copy of the mortgage registered with a bank / co-operative society
True Copy of School Leaving Certificate
